Siblings Jack and Annie are whisked away by the Magic Tree House, along with their enchanted dog, Teddy, to a forest in India. Their mission is to find the third of four gifts required to break the spell on Teddy. In the jungle, they encounter various animals, including two helpful monkeys, and face dangers like a python and a wild tiger. Their main challenge is discovering that rare tigers are being trapped by illegal poachers. Jack and Annie must use their courage and the knowledge from their magic book to free a trapped tiger, thus obtaining the third gift, a yellow flower, from a wise, blind hermit they meet along the way.
