A Little Princess

Tania Zamorsky - Personal Name; Lucy Corvino - Personal Name;

This story follows Sara Crewe, a wealthy, imaginative, and exceptionally kind young girl who is enrolled in Miss Minchin’s exclusive London boarding school. Sara is treated like royalty due to her father's immense fortune. Her life takes a devastating turn when news arrives that her father has suddenly lost his fortune and died. The greedy and cruel headmistress, Miss Minchin, immediately strips Sara of her privileged status, forcing her into servitude as a penniless orphan, working as a maid in the cold, miserable attics of the school. Despite the abuse, cold, and starvation, Sara refuses to lose her dignity. She uses her powerful imagination to pretend she is still a princess in spirit, demonstrating incredible resilience and kindness to those around her, including the school's servants, until her fortune is miraculously—and justly—restored.
